THE ASK:
The Babe Ruth League is a national baseball and softball youth sports organization serving kids from ages 4 to 18; dedicated to providing young athletes the very best educational, sports experience possible. As part of its committment to teaching skills for mental and physical health development, the organization was bringing to market its first ever, personalized swing coaching app, co-branded with K-Motion, an industry leader in wireless, human motion learning. Product launch communications needs included the design of a logo mark that would instantly telegraph bat swinging, and creation of a promotional video campaign for web, email and social. Key target audience for conversion was Babe Ruth League parents and coaches.
Our design team created all brand indentity and go-to market communications for the app launch including logo mark, and a super informative and entertaining video promo campaign for web, email and social. We conceptualized a high energy, fast moving motion graphic creative treatment to emulate the look and feel of professional sports team promos that parents are accustomed to seeing on TV and online. A combination of live action swing coaching skills and drills demonstrating "before" and "after" app performance improvement, digitally composited with attention grabbing, features and benefits text messaging animation and motion graphics, was executed to engage target buyers and drive to landing page for purchase.
